FEASIBILITY STUDIES

CONTRACTOR SELECTION
Archius Design will source qualified contractors and request construction estimates for your project. We help in analyzing estimates, asking the tough questions, and walking you through the process so you can select the right contractor for your project.
INTERIOR DESIGN
We will compile inspiration imagery and product samples, then create custom mood boards for easy visualization of how the finishes will look in your home. Our interior designer will support you with recommendations, samples, showroom visits, selection, and detailed installation instructions to make sure your vision comes to life.
DESIGN
Involves heavy collaboration with you to finalize the design of your project and the technical development of project drawings by Archius Design. Also includes securing the necessary consultants for the project – structural, civil, geotech, etc.

PERMITS
Involves developing the required documentation based on city/county requirements and securing the permit approvals on the Client’s behalf.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Archius Design will help coordinate weekly site meetings with the contractor and make progress checks at key milestones, all while making sure your project is built to our standards.
OUR PROCESS
Our steps are simple and easy to understand: Plan - Design - Guide - Settle In
1. INTRODUCTION
This is where we get to know you and your project! This typically consists of an intro call with our Business Manager and then a subsequent virtual or in person meeting with our architect. After this, we will submit a fee proposal for your project.

3. DESIGN
This stage is the more technical part of the project, and it involves the creation of proposed floor plans including interior and exterior features, design boards, and where we determine the direction of the overall aesthetics of the project. We provide our clients with 3D renderings alongside the floor plans for easier visualization of the completed project.
5. FINISHES SELECTIONS
The Finish Selections phase is focused on selecting the most important finishes in your home like tile, countertops, flooring, decorative lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Our dedicated designer will walk with you through each selection and make recommendations, accompany you on showroom visits, and be available for site visits as needed.
7. Closeout
During this final phase we will conduct our final walkthrough and provide punch list items to the contractor and follow up to make sure all items are completed. Once construction is completed, our team will schedule a professional photoshoot and prep the home for pictures that will be shared with our clients and on our website.
2. FEASIBILITY
During this first phase, Archius Design will evaluate the project goals and constraints. This includes documenting existing site conditions with measures, photos and modeling the house in our software, project timelines, and city requirements as they relate to the client’s description of project needs, desires, and budget.
4. PERMIT
We will create the construction drawing set and other required documentation (electrical plans, glazing schedules, etc.) that are needed in order to build the project and submit for permits, design boards, and where we determine the direction of interior finishes.
6. CONSTRUCTION
This phase involves the administration of construction with our client’s chosen contractor including site visits/progress checks, change order reviews, ad hoc clarifications, etc. We make sure that every detail is completed beautifully and as designed. The time spent by our architectural and administrative staff is charged hourly as some clients prefer to be more hands-on.
